Boy Scout Construction City

Each year Bay Corrugated Container donates corrugated sheets to the Boy Scouts of America for their use in the Construction City program. This challenging event offers the scouts the opportunity to learn about safety, teamwork, skill development, and have fun all at once. They are supplied with tools and materials, including corrugated. Bay Corrugated Container is happy to supply the Erie Shores Council with materials to make this experience possible.

Supporting Local High School Education

Since 2010, Bay Corrugated has conducted in-house tours for local high schools, for their engineering classes. Shown is Bedford Senior High School’s drafting class on one of their visits. Students are given a presentation about the box industry and what it takes to make a box. A review of our hiring process is performed, a plant tour is held and then students are shown how a box is made with our design team!

Helping Hands of St. Louis Outreach Center

Bay Corrugated Container has been a participant in the Helping Hands annual golf outing for many years. Our employees have generously donated canned goods to the Helping Hands Food Pantry. Located in Toledo, Ohio, the mission of Helping Hands of St. Louis is to provide hot nutritious meals, groceries, clothing, hot showers and other social services for all who come to their doors.

Bay Corrugated Container was a Gold Sponsor in the 2017 Christmas Magic in Monroe Parade. The event was hosted by the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and the Monroe News. Over the course of several weeks, our design team built a gingerbread themed float made mostly of corrugated. Many of our employees and their families participated in the parade held on December 16th. We look forward to the event in 2018!

Over the past several years, Bay Corrugated Container has partnered with members from MiDiCo, donating to the VOCES Dia de Los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day) event held in Battle Creek, Michigan. VOCES holds a day-long celebration, passing out toys to youth. Our employees have generously donated toys, books, games, stuffed animals and gift cards. With over 100 children participating annually, we are proud to support this event.

Christmas Magic in Monroe 2018

Bay Corrugated Container was a proud Gold Sponsor in the 2018 Christmas Magic in Monroe Parade that was held on Saturday, December 15. Our theme this year was 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. There were many items on our float that were made completely out of corrugated, including the couch, chair, end table and even the fireplace. Along with the Grinch and Cindy Lou, we had over 100 employees and their families walking with our float. We are looking forward to participating in the parade again in 2019!

Personal Care Products Drive 2018

During the holiday season, the employees of Bay Corrugated Container generously donated a variety of hygiene products, including shampoo and conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste to our local homeless shelter. The success of the drive was due to the overwhelming participation from our employees and their willingness to help individuals within our community.
